In the third quarter of 2024, the top five paid gaming apps in Oman showcased varied performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active users. Our data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides a detailed look at each app's journey throughout the quarter.

Pou from Zakeh saw a gradual decline in weekly downloads, starting at about 5K in early July and dropping to under 1K by the end of September. Revenue also experienced some fluctuation, peaking at $150 in the second week of July and then tapering off to approximately $120 by the end of the quarter. Active users started strong at around 60K, but slowly decreased to about 47K.

Geometry Dash Lite, published by RobTop Games, had a mixed performance. Revenue fluctuated slightly, with a high of $60 at the beginning of July and a low of $26 in mid-September. Downloads initially increased, peaking at 3.6K in mid-August, before declining to around 1.4K by the quarter's end. Active users followed a similar trend, peaking at approximately 22K before decreasing to 16K.

Red Ball 4 from FDG Entertainment saw a consistent decline in downloads and active users. Downloads dropped from 3K in early July to just over 1K by September's close. Revenue was sporadic, with highs reaching $43 mid-July but falling to zero in the latter part of September. Active users mirrored this decline, starting at 19K and reducing to 15K.

Pepi Hospital: Learn & Care by Pepi Play experienced a steady decrease in weekly downloads, from 1.1K at the start of July to just 285 by the end of September. Active users also declined, starting at 3K and ending at 1.2K. Revenue was negligible throughout the quarter, with only a slight uptick in late July.

Lastly, Talking Gummy Bear Kids Games from Viva Games Studios showed an interesting pattern. Downloads surged from 300 in early July to over 1K in late August, before settling at 425 by the quarter's end. Active users reflected this trend, increasing to over 3K in late August and then tapering off to just under 2K at the close of September. Revenue remained at zero throughout the quarter.
